"On 25 December 2018, myself, my husband and our two daughters left South Africa for Franklin, Tennessee on a working visa, with the hope of eventually immigrating. On arrival in Franklin, we stayed in a friend’s holiday home downtown, and were due to move into our apartment which my husband sourced online on 1 January 2019. The day after we arrived we went to view the apartment and were less than thrilled with what we saw.
